Where we get your data

In most cases you provide your data to us yourself — in an inquiry, order or correspondence. If you are a contact person, employee or associate of our customer or supplier, your data (first and last name, job title, business e-mail address and phone number, employer's name) was provided to us by your employer or principal. We verify company data in public registers (KRS, CEIDG, VAT taxpayer list).

§ 5

Data recipients

Your data may be received — to the extent necessary to achieve the purposes described in § 3 — by:

  • providers of IT, hosting and e-mail services;
  • entities providing us with accounting and legal services;
  • courier, transport and freight forwarding companies — when shipping products;
  • banks and payment institutions — for settlements;
  • auditors of the certification body — during management system audits;
  • public authorities — where required by law.

§ 6

Transfers of data outside the EEA

As a rule, we do not transfer customer and contractor data outside the European Economic Area. If this were necessary — e.g., when fulfilling an order for a recipient outside the EEA or when using an IT provider based outside the EEA — we will do so only where an adequate level of protection is ensured (a European Commission adequacy decision or standard contractual clauses).

§ 7

How long we retain data

  • data related to an inquiry and quote — until the correspondence ends and, if no contract is concluded, until the limitation period for potential claims expires;
  • data related to a contract — for the duration of the contract and then until the limitation period for claims expires (as a rule 3 years for claims related to business activity, counted to the end of the calendar year);
  • accounting and tax documents — for the period required by law, as a rule 5 years from the end of the calendar year in which the tax payment deadline expired;
  • quality documentation — for the period specified in the quality management system procedures and in customer contracts;
  • data processed on the basis of consent — until the consent is withdrawn; for marketing purposes — until you object, but no longer than 3 years.

§ 8

Your rights

You have the right to access your data and obtain a copy of it (Art. 15 GDPR), to rectification (Art. 16), erasure (Art. 17), restriction of processing (Art. 18), and portability of data processed on the basis of consent or a contract (Art. 20), as well as the right to object to processing based on legitimate interest, including direct marketing (Art. 21). You may withdraw your consent at any time, without affecting the lawfulness of processing carried out before its withdrawal.

Send your request to office@adjatech-company.com. We will respond without undue delay and no later than within one month. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the President of the Personal Data Protection Office (ul. Stawki 2, 00-193 Warsaw).

§ 9

Whether you are required to provide data

Providing your data is voluntary, but it is necessary to prepare a quote and to conclude and perform a contract — without it, we cannot prepare an offer or fulfill an order. Providing the data required to issue an invoice is a statutory requirement.

§ 10

Automated decision-making

We do not make decisions based solely on automated processing, including profiling, that would produce legal effects concerning you or similarly significantly affect you.
